Thrifty Makeover

 

 

So I have stumbled upon a thrift store just miles from the house.

I've been looking for a faux orchid plant (one I can't kill) but the only reasonably priced one I've found so far has been from Bealls Outlet and that was $20.

Now I'm super happy I didn't purchase that one, when I found THIS one for $8.

 

 

After a little clean up, it turned out pretty nice, although I'm not a fan of the blue.

 

 

So I grabbed some old spray paint, the one I used when I painted the mantel's mirror, and sprayed away. 

 

 

Made sure to wrap up the flowers.
