In the spirit of staying healthy, along with running I've been juicing more.
Here's my running pal ;)
He is awesome. He won't give up no matter how hot and tired he is. If I slow down, he slows down. When I speed up, he speeds up. My little partner. (Plus the vet says he's 5lbs "over weight") I don't see that at all ;D
If I have a weakness at the grocery store, thankfully it isn't the chip isle or the cookie isle; It's the produce isle. All of the colors get me in a good mood then I'm READY to spend some green.
I'm thinking of tracking my savings so I can really figure out how much glass of juice is costing me (though you can't put a price on good health). I'm always curious about what a meal will cost vs. fast food or a fresh juiced juice vs. a soda.
ANYWHO a girlfriend from work gave the brilliant idea: make lots of juice at one time, portion and freeze the remains. I hate having a messy kitchen and this means only having a messy kitchen once every 4 days- since it's impossible to keep the kitchen clean while juicing; trust me I've tried!
This is my juicer. Craig got it for me last year for our anniversary. - I hate taking pictures without my glasses on.. This is what happens, pictures come out blurry lol
It is the Continental Professional Series Juicer.
Honestly, I've gotten to the point where I just throw whatever I'm in the mood for that day into the juicer and see what the end result is. This one came out delicious. I always sprinkle ground ginger on the top to give it a little zing.
Portion the leftovers and freeze. Take one out of the freezer in the morning and by lunch time, you're good to go.
Thanks for stopping by. Cheers.
